Arriving by Car

Clifton Park and Museum is on Clifton Lane (A6021), half a mile from Rotherham town centre.

If travelling by car, you can reach us from junctions 33, 34, or 35 of the M1, or junction 1 of the M18.

The driveway at the front of the Museum building provides access to the car park.

There is a second car park on Doncaster Road. This car park gives direct access to the park. The Museum is a few minutes walk.

Arriving by Bus

Busses to Clifton Park and Museum are available from the bus station in the town centre. There is a bus stop immediately outside the Museum. From the Rotherham town centre interchange, you can take the X1 or X10 bus to Maltby which will drop you off at Clifton Park Museum.

Arriving by Train

Rotherham Central train station is only 15 minutes' walk from Clifton Park, and takes you on a scenic route through the town and past Rotherham Minster.

Arriving by Cycle

We have cycle storage facilities for visitors arriving by bicycle. These are located at the Museum, next to the information room.
