20 July 2024, Our Habitats, Our Home Exhibition at the Clifton Park Museum

Marco has returned to Clifton Park Museum! Our beloved taxidermy brown bear is exploring the past, present, and future of Rotherham’s habitats in our latest temporary exhibition.
Come along to find out about how Marco the bear’s search for evidence of his ancestors is going. Along the way he’s learning all about Rotherham’s changing habitats and wildlife. Nature lovers can discover animals from our huge Natural History collection, and much more in this family friendly exhibition. The exhibition also includes ‘Naturalia’, an immersive experience created by artist duo, Dr Liam Jefferies & Stephanie Jefferies. This explores how Rotherham’s natural spaces, once desecrated by industry, are being reclaimed by nature.
Take part in our new trail around the exhibition! The trail is designed for young children to help them explore the exhibition and find some of the items in it. Don’t forget to count Marco’s paw prints in this colourful and fun, interactive trail. Pick up a booklet and start searching.
