Tennis

Courts can be booked online via the Parks Tennis website, meaning you can reserve your court in advance, at a time to suit you and your friends. Once you have booked your court, you will receive an email with a unique access code which you tap into the keypad on the gate entering court one.

Tennis courts are also available at Coronation Park, Maltby. You can book the courts through the Maltby Town Council.

Bowls

Clifton Park has four crown green bowling greens. Greens are open daily:

• 10am to 7.30pm, April to 3rd September
• 10am to 6.30pm, 4th September to 2nd October

Last admission is one hour before closing.

Day tickets available from the Garden House Reception from £4.00. Equipment hire available, refunded deposit required.

Skate Park

The skate plaza in Clifton Park is a concrete skate park, based on the origins of the sport which made use of street furniture. Features include steps, grind rail, half bowl and fun box.

The park was installed by Wheelscape.

Walking, Running and Cycling

There are miles of pathways around the park for you to run, jog, stroll or cycle along.

There is an organised 5km Parkrun event every Saturday at 9am.

We have a basketball court is free to use. The court is not marked out.

Grassed Areas

The park has 23 hectares of open lawns and woodlands. It is ideal for informal games or sports events.
