Clifton Park and Museum

The park is open all day every day. The car park is open from 7am and closes at 7pm.

Museum

April to September

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

October to March

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.

The Museum is also open on a Monday during Rotherham school holidays.

Walker Café

Come along to the Walker Café and enjoy a selection of freshly prepared breakfast and light lunch options. The café provides a relaxing place to meet family and friends where you can enjoy a tasty cake and a nice cup of freshly ground coffee.

Food and drinks purchased from the Café can be enjoyed on the outside terrace where you can take in the wonderful views of the park, or you can head to our inside seating area.

Card payment preferred.

Garden Building and Sports

The garden building is closed for winter.

The bowling greens are now closed for winter.

The basket ball court is open - no booking necessary, guidance on use available at the gate.

Archives and Local Studies opening hours

The Archive and Local Studies Search Room is located inside Clifton Park Museum.

We are currently open as follows:

• Wednesday - 10am to 4pm
• Thursday - 10am to 4pm
• Friday - 10am to 4pm
• Every other Saturday - 10am to 3.30pm. Please note, we close for lunch on Saturdays from 12.30pm to 1pm
• Closed on Bank Holidays

If you wish to visit us, it is advisable to book an appointment at least a week in advance. This enables us to make sure the relevant resources are got out ready for you. To make an appointment or to find out more, please complete the enquiry form.
